The 5 Shoes You Must Have in Your Closet

From Anne L. Fritz, About.com Guest

I don’t know about you, but often it’s finding the right pair of shoes to go with my outfit that really keeps me from getting out the door in a hurry. Here are five must-have shoes every woman must own to make getting dressed quick and easy.

1. Nude Pumps

Top on the list of must-have shoes because they go with absolutely everything and make your legs look extra long. The flower appliqué transforms this AK Anne Klein version into a flirty and fun pair of kicks. Sizes 5.5-10.5.

2. Red Flats

When you have a mile-long to do list, flats are the only way to go. Red is a surprisingly wearable neutral and the Geox Breathes line is renowned for comfort. Size 6-10.5

3. Black Wedges

When you want to be trendy and work appropriate, pick a traditional black loafer with the heel of the season: A wedge. These Aerosoles work with everything from suits to dresses to jeans. Sizes 5-12.

4. Brown Flat Sandals

It doesn’t get any easier—or more affordable—than these simple Payless slides. The slight heel makes these more wearable than flip flops and the soft brown is a better choice than black for summer sandals. Sizes 5-12.

5. Metallic Strappy Sandals

Consider this the evening version of the nude pump: It will match all the cocktail dresses and going out clothes in your closet. The gold, bronze and silver hues of this gladiator-style Nine West sandal blend with all your jewelry, too. Sizes 5-12.
