Use a toe separator to keep toenails from hitting each other and potentially smudging your polish. Paint toes with a quick dry polish. The benefit to a quick dry polish, like Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color, is that you don’t need to bother with a base coat or top coat—it’s a three-in-one. This polish has an extra-large brush to coat nails quickly. The polish really does dry in about 60 seconds.

Tips:

  • A sheer pink polish on longer toenails gives an instant French pedicure and won’t show chips as easily.
  • A classic red nail polish will go with most colored shoes.
  • Use a foot lotion nightly to keep heels and feet soft in between pedicures.
