Chose the right shampoo and conditioner
Set yourself up for gorgeous results by choosing a shampoo and conditioner that's right for your hair type. If your hair is fine, opt for volumizing formulas and condition only on the ends, not the roots. If your hair is thick or curly, look for varieties that offer smoothing properties and consider a deep conditioner.
Dry hair half way
Towel dry your hair as best you can, then flip your head upside down and blow dry until your hair is half way dry. Use a low-heat and finger comb.
Section hair and use a round brush
Apply the hair product of your choice - a mousse for fine hair or spray gel for thick hair. Divide hair into four sections: one on each side of your head, in the back and on top. Work on one section at a time, clipping the other sections out of the way. Use a nozzle on your blow drier to focus the air and turn it up to hot. Using a round brush, dry the hair in sections. Hit hair with a blase of cold to lock in smoothness and shine.
