I love a good body scrub. There's nothing like it to make your skin soft, smooth and silky in minutes. It also preps skin for self tanning, helping it go on more evenly and absorb faster. The good news--now, thanks to Being True Energy Work Active Body Peel, you don't have to spend time and money at a spa for an effective, head-to-toe exfoliation.

How Does the Body Scrub Work?

Being True Energy Work Active Body Peel isn't actually a scrub at all. It contains salicylic acids and other alpha hydroxy acids including, pumpkin fruit and algae extracts, to gently resurface skin by removing dead skin cells. It's also loaded with good-for you-moisturizers like lavender oil, arnica extract and jojoba beads, which promise to leave skin soft and supple.

How Do I Use the Body Scrub?

Before getting in the shower, apply an ample amount of True Energy Work Active Body Peel onto dry skin. It's a gel and can feel a little cool going on. Moisten with a few drops of water and massage the peel in. Then step in the shower and rinse off.

How Did the body Scrub Perform?

I found this peel to be ultra-effective at softening my skin. It really does make my skin silky and smooth, like the clichéd baby's bottom. I particularly like the fresh scent andthat it doesn't leave skin oily, like a typical body scrub.

I use Being True Energy Work Active Body Peel before special night's out or pre-self tanning.

Is It Right for Me?

If you're looking for a powerful, all-over exfoliation, Being True Energy Work Active Body Peel is it. At $42 for 8 fl. oz, it's pricier than drug store body scrubs, but still a bargain when compared to a spa treatment.

Because it contains alpha hydroxy acids, you do need to be extra vigilant with sunscreen.
