Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

Whether your skin is uneven, blotchy or dull looking, we all can use a little help from time to time. A good tinted moisturizer or foundation can be an easy shortcut to looking rested and beautiful. Does the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 live up to the hype?

How Do I Use It?

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 comes in a tube. I apply a nickel size dollop with my fingers, starting with my forehead, then working out and down along my nose and cheekbones. I like to blend it with a sponge to ensure it’s even. I add a second application to any red or blotchy areas as needed. For me, this tends to be along my nose.

I like a dewy finish, so I skip applying powder.

How Did It Perform?

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 gave my skin a beautiful, healthy glow, while evening out the redness in my skin. I love that it has SPF 20 in it—this saves me the extra step of apply sun protection.

I found the coverage lasted all day. I do like that it’s slim enough to put in my purse for end of day touch ups on those days I have drink or dinner plans.

It comes in 7 shades. I use porcelain in winter and nude in summer and will sometimes mix them when I’m in between.

Is It Right for Me?

If your skin is in fairly good shape or you don’t like heavy foundations, then this Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 is an ideal choice for you.

Those with dry skin may want to use a primer or moisturizer first.
